About Us

Home Farm Events is a combination of family run businesses. We have combined experience and expertise in planning, catering and country life to offer a unique and exciting venue for any wedding.

Our preferred caterers are well known and highly thought of in Northamptonshire and Warwickshire for producing sumptuous food for many events. They take pride in using locally sourced products and home made food of the highest quality. Home Farm beef and lamb will always be available on our menus.

The whole Harrison Family - Robert, Matthew, Sue, Kate and Claire are involved in the day to day running of a busy livestock farm. The farm produces home-grown Aberdeen Angus beef and top quality lamb.

Home Farm is also home to a pony stud, so foals can often be seen playing in the paddocks along with calves and lambs.

Together we are able to offer Home Farm Events in a stunning location in the Northamptonshire countryside, where you can make your dreams come true.

... everything was perfect from start to finish. The planning process was brilliant - Sue the owner was so helpful, answering all my neurotic bride questions and giving us plenty of recommendation's for vendors. The day itself went so smoothly, the team were incredible and we could not have had a better wedding......

In 2012 a 50 KW system was installed - generating enough power to cover the farm and venue's basic energy needs.

BIOMASS BOILER

A biomass boiler, which uses sustainable wood pellets to heat and provide hot water in the old farmhouse.

AIR HEAT SOURCE

The new farmhouse is heated and hot water supplied by an air-cooled reversible heat pump.

LOCAL SUPPLIERS, LOCAL PRODUCE

Reduces vehicle carbon emissions and to look after local small businesses, we use local suppliers & tradesmen where possible.

CAMPING

Wedding guests are welcome to camp here at the farm overnight, saving fuel on driving to a hotel or B&B.

WASTE WOOD CHIP

The cattle are part bedded on waste wood chip.

HOME PRODUCED BEEF AND LAMB

All beef and lamb dishes served at Home Farm Weddings will be from animals born and bred at Home Farm.

Accommodation at Home Farm

Grace is a pretty, bespoke oak shepherd's hut, sitting proudly in the field, overlooking The Grand Union Canal.

She's open all year round, is fully insulated and double glazed, and comes with mains electricity and hot running water. Well-behaved pooches are welcome, too.

Countryside elegance certainly are the bywords here. Inside, Grace is beautifully-neat and sparklingly clean .All 20-foot of Grace has been appointed to a very high standard by her owner, Claire, and furnished with the brands she loves.

At one end of Grace is a gorgeous springy double bed slotted into a daisy-white den space that you step up into. Moonlight falls in through the window at the end of your bed at night, and in the morning, you can wake up watching the cows as they play on the hill opposite. This den is so comfy and cosy (piled with pillows and cushions and fresh with cotton linen) that you may struggle to get up. There's also a Smart TV poised for action in the corner

Beyond the bed-den, calming mints, blues and whites run the length of Grace. Colours that perfectly complement the real oak wood of her doors, work surfaces and floors (which are fitted with underfloor heating – toasty).

The French doors to the front of the hut are a splendid touch; fling them open in the spring or summer and let the countryside rush in as you sip your morning coffee. The kitchenette is fitted with a two-pan hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and all the utensils you need to self-cater happily.

Finally, there is a sunny en-suite bathroom.. Like the rest of the hut, the bathroom has been carefully considered; there's an Edwardian rainfall shower, a heated towel rail, flushing WC, bijou basin, plus complimentary toiletries. And hanging on the door are two heavy velvet robes, ready for you to use – oh, yes – in the outdoor copper bathtub.

With acres of field all to herself and no other guests to bump into whilst climbing into the outdoor copper bath, she's a lovely rural glamping nook for a romantic stay for two.
