Home Farm offers a unique wedding reception venue in which to celebrate your marriage with family and friends.

Home Farm overlooks the romantic spire of All Saints' Church known as "The Cathedral of the Canals".

Should you choose to marry in the historic village of Braunston, we will hear the bells ringing through the meadows as we prepare to welcome you.

Registry Office Weddings and Civil Partnerships

Registry Office and Civil Weddings

Our nearest Registry Office is in Daventry.

You will need to go the Northamptonshire Registration Service's website to fill out a ceremony enquiry form.

This allows you to check the availability for three separate dates/times for your ceremony, which will then be confirmed via email.

Home Farm is the perfect place to celebrate your happy occasion with family and friends.



Traditional marquee

Marquees create a Romantic/Country Fair Feel. When people think about marquees they often have in mind the swooping lines, high roofs, wooden poles and guy lines of a traditional marquee. It has the look, feel and smell of a summer's day. Ideal for a romantic wedding on grass, with hay bales and strawberry cream teas. Wooden King Poles inside the marquee are a feature of the traditional style marquee. They can be decorated with ribbons and/or flowers.

We will work closely with you to ensure every last detail has been taken care of.



  • Support and advice before the event.
  • Full event management on the day.
  • Exclusive use of marquee and field for 48 hours (from 10.00am the day before the wedding)
  • Exclusive use of the bar with all drinks served at pub prices
  • Full power distribution for entertainment and lighting
  • Luxury toilets, fully equipped with separate ladies and gents facilities, washbasins etc

The marquee will have:

  • An entrance porch
  • Bar pagoda
  • Overhead lighting - paper lanterns
  • Astro carpet flooring
  • 5’circular or 6’ rectangular wooden banqueting tables
  • Trestle tables for a top table, caterers, gift table
  • A cake table
  • An easel for your seating plan
  • Limewashed chivari chairs with cream pad
  • Dance floor
  • Heating if required
  • Tables fully laid with appropriate glassware, stainless steel cutlery, crockery and wine coolers
  • White linen tablecloths
  • Quality paper napkins (linen available at extra cost)
  • Hay/straw bales will be provided
  • Car parking – over-night if required


When comparing our prices with other venues remember that we do not take any event bookings on consecutive days. Our pricing reflects the fact that you will have access to our facilities from the day before the wedding, until late morning on the following day.

What a fantastic wedding that was! I will never forget that beautiful, romantic, midsummer sunset making the backdrop for the reception. Talking of which your home grown beef was really delicious as was everything that accompanied it.


What a fantastic weekend!! The farm was an absolute picture on the longest day of the year. The beef went down particularly well and having spoken to lots of friends they all enjoyed it immensely.
